Three Northampton Community College (NCC) students will present at the Northeast Regional Honors Council Conference (NRHC). The highly-competitive conference, which selects the best work coming out of honors programs at both four-year and two-year schools, is an organization of students, faculty, and administrators dedicated to the encouragement and support of undergraduate honors learning. NCC honor students have had their work accepted to this prestigious conference every year over the past five years.
Sabrina Moody will give a live presentation on April 10 on “Gráinne Mhaol: Ireland’s Pirate Queen,” based on her work in Honors Irish Literature with Dr. Cara McClintock.
Jordan Stokes poster presentation under the topic of Education: “Lazy Teens are Not the Issue: Solving Teenage Sleep Deprivation Through Delayed School Start” is based on her work in English I with Dr. Mary Mathis. The presentation was pre-recorded, and can be found here.
Nicole Cavaliere poster presentation under the topic of Mathematics, Science, and Health: “The Increased Accessibility of Mental Health Care” is based on her work in English I with Dr. Mary Mathis. The presentation was pre-recorded, and can be found here.
