GM ASEP Student Award Presentation

Two recent graduates were presented with awards for completion and leadership.

This summer, Northampton Community College (NCC) General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (GM ASEP) instructor, Kevin Casey, and Auto Program Manager, Joseph Spadafora Jr., went to Brown Daub Chevy to present two graduates awards at their workplace. The NCC GM ASEP program graduates, Kaleb Fulmer and Jared McDonald, received GM ASEP plaques for completion of the program. Additionally, McDonald was presented with the GM ASEP Student Leadership Award. 
 
A small celebration at the dealership was held with funding provide by the International Association of General Motors Automotive Service Educational Programs. Brown Daub Chevy Service Manager, Ken Pozarowski, expressed what a great addition these two men were to his service department.  

“Partnering with locals shops and dealers to provide qualified technicians is the end goal of getting student trainees through our programs. The shops get qualified employees, and the student get an in demand and sustainable career. This is a great benefit to our community,” says Spadafora.
