Northampton Community College (NCC) and Keystone College signed an Honors-to-Honors articulation agreement, which means students could begin their Honors education here at NCC and transfer seamlessly into Keystone’s Honors program. NCC honors students who graduate with an associate’s degree and meet transfer requirements will be guaranteed admission into Keystone’s Honors Program to complete their bachelor’s degree.
At NCC, honors courses can be taken as part of the general education core in all degree programs. These courses provide research opportunities and off campus experiences and projects related to course content.
Honors Program Director, Cara McClintock-Walsh, said “This agreement with Keystone represents a wonderful opportunity for our students. Keystone, like NCC, values an honors education that encourages academic, independent, and creative thinking, and gives students the tools and support to pursue their intellectual passions.”
Students can learn more about NCC’s Honors program and the various program transfer agreements on the Honors program webpage.
