Summer classes at Northampton Community College begin May 23 and are being offered during five flexible start times through August. Available in 4, 6 and 10 week accelerated formats, the classes are popular with college students who are home for the summer and want to pick up affordable credits to transfer back to their full-time institutions.

They are also a favorite of current and local students who want to get ahead and make progress toward earning their degrees. Classes are offered online, on campus and in hybrid formats (part online, part on campus) to offer students the flexibility to fit with their busy schedules while still allowing them to enjoy the warm weather of the season.

Session times include: Summer 1 – May 23 – June 30; Mid-Summer – June 6 – Aug. 17; 4-Week Summer 1 – June 13 – July 8; Summer 2 – July 11 – Aug. 18 and 4-Week Summer 2 – July 18 – Aug. 12. “Whether you’re a current NCC student, enrolled at another college, or are starting fresh — our professors, faculty, and staff are here to guide you every step of the way,” said NCC spokesperson Emily Betley. “Many students come to NCC during the summer to take advantage of low-cost tuition. Others prefer the breadth of course offerings and accelerated formats that they can’t find at other schools.”
