Due to COVID infection rates in the area, NCC has decided to postpone its Winter Commencement ceremony, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 29, until a date later in the spring.
Graduating students were surveyed earlier in January to better understand their preferences for holding a ceremony in person later this spring or earlier in the semester virtually. Results indicated that graduates favored a spring on-ground ceremony.
“With that feedback in mind, we are working to identify a date, time and details for a graduation event to celebrate our students’ accomplishments,” said Sedgwick Harris, NCC’s vice president for Student Affairs and Enrollment. “We expect to finalize plans in the coming weeks and share that information with the campus community in the near future.”
