On December 16, the Pocono Chamber of Commerce held their Annual Dinner at Camelback Resort in Tannersville. At the dinner, they announced awardees for outstanding businesses and individuals over the past year. Three of the awardees were recent Northampton Community College (NCC) graduates.
Rookie Business of the Year went to We See Productions. Co-founder of the company is NCC graduate, Samantha Washington. Benny Vukaj with Novus Medical Services took home Volunteer of the Year for his work in service throughout 2021. Emily Hauser of the Heberling Agency Inc was awarded Young Professional of the Year. NCC’s Dean of the School of Business and Industry and one of Hauser’s former instructors, Denise Francois-Seeney, was invited to present the award to her at the Pocono Chamber Annual Dinner.
