Northampton Community College (NCC) was ranked #18 in the nation and #1 in Pennsylvania among two-year schools for its associates in communications program by BestValueSchools.org. Students can take courses online or in-person that provide the framework for a variety of careers in communications. This ranking considers cost, faculty to student ratio, and graduation rate.
“I tell our students during their first week of class that in today’s world, learning communication skills is as close to a superpower as you’ll get through education. This award shows our instructors take the responsibility to impart that power very seriously and our students have learned exactly how to use that advantage,” says NCC Communications Professor Dustin Briggs.
NCC’s communication studies program provides basic preparation leading to communication-related careers in organizations and corporations dealing with media, education, business, public service, tourism, journalism, public relations, politics, broadcasting and sales.
