Moravian College announced Northampton Community College (NCC) recipient of the Community Scholarship. Brianna Glose earned a 3.5 GPA and entered Moravian this fall 2020 as a management major with a marketing track. Students chosen for this award must have a minimum 3.25 GPA, finish their degree at NCC, and be entering Moravian in the fall semester.
“We’re excited that Brianna has joined the Moravian College community,” said Scott Dams, vice president of enrollment and marketing at Moravian College. “She has done excellent academic work so far, and we’re excited to see what impact the students we chose will have here at Moravian.”
This is the second year that NCC has nominated five students for the scholarship from a list of applicants. Moravian representatives choose a winner after interviewing the nominees, and that individual is granted full tuition for two years at the four-year institution.
“As educators, I think we can all agree that one of our greatest joys comes from watching our students succeed,” said Michelle Palmisano, assistant director of advising and transfer services at NCC. “Being able to witness a student receive a full scholarship to a local, partner school, is nothing short of a dream. Brianna was a hardworking student during her time at NCC and is a fine example of what can result from hard work, dedication and commitment.”
