Northampton Community College (NCC) held a winter pinning ceremony for 23 Registered Nursing (RN) December graduates on January 28 on Bethlehem campus.
The graduates were as follows:
Charlotte Cherry, RN
Ciara Dolan, RN
Allyson Flurer, RN
Olivia Frawley, RN
Lilliana Galasso, RN
Kristine Griffith, RN
Lauren Kozak, RN
The graduates with the “RN” credentials next to their name are those who have taken their NCLEX state board exam and passed as of the January 28. Seven students so far have successfully passed and are officially RNs.
Two graduates received awards during the ceremony. The Clinical Achievement Award was given to Lilliana Galasso, and Ciara Dolan was honored with the Leadership Award. Alpha Delta Nu Inductees, Corryn Snyder and Tracy Simmons, were also recognized at the pinning.
“As the new director of the nursing programs, this was such an honor to be a part of this ceremony from a new perspective. I had the privilege of having most of these students in class. Our entire department is excited to see what these new nurses are going to do in their career. We are NCC Proud!” says Nursing Program Director, Thomas W. Rush, MSN, RN.
