Northampton Community College’s (NCC) Quadfest on Bethlehem campus and Rock the Block at Monroe campus were back in full swing this year, and were an awesome way for students to engage with each other and enjoy some fun on campus once again! Both campuses held their parties in the first two weeks of the fall 2021 semester, indoors, outdoors, and online.
Tables full of student services, clubs and local organizations were at both parties with giveaways like Bluetooth headphones from Virtual campus, themed cookies from Nursing Student Organization (NSO), and water bottles and knapsacks from the Center for Civic and Community Engagement.
Bethlehem celebrated their international students as they raised the flag that represented their country, ultimately, displaying their flags on stage for all to see.
Attendees enjoyed food like pretzel bites, cookies, hot dogs and snow cones so that no one went hungry at either campus event! At Monroe, students, faculty and staff filled the courtyard as a DJ played a variety of older and contemporary music, keeping spirits high in the crowd.
Both parties were full of entertainment with a giant chess game, corn hole, and a few basketball nets on Bethlehem Campus and one-of-a-kind portraits drawn by a cartoonist as well as free custom vanity plates available on Monroe campus.
At the Foundation tables, students wrote thank-you notes to donors who support them and also learned about Giving Day, which will be held September 30 this year. They had the chance to spin a wheel and win free things like t-shirts, pins and masks.
These parties helped us kick off the semester in style!
