Northampton Community College’s Spartan Sprint 5K Run/Walk is back for another year of helping students! The seventh annual Spartan Sprint will be held on Saturday, September 25, at 10 a.m. The race starts and finishes at NCC’s beautiful Bethlehem Campus. The course is point to point and mostly flat and fast. Strollers and leashed pets welcome! Post-race raffle, music and refreshments will be offered.
For the first time this year, the race will feature chip timing and the option of purchasing extra race t-shirts. For more information and to register, visit northampton.edu/spartansprint.
All proceeds from the event go towards Spartan Aid, a fund created to assist NCC students with any non-academic barriers to college success, including transportation and food insecurity. Since the first Spartan Sprint 5K Run/Walk in 2014, hundreds of students have received assistance. The ultimate goal of Spartan Aid is to help students meet these needs in order for them to complete what they start at NCC. Direct donations are also accepted.
