Northampton Community College (NCC) was ranked number 10 in the top schools in the nation for online education paraprofessionals programs. When ranking colleges with these programs, Learn.org uses data from the U.S. Department of Education and other reputable sources in order to consider admissions requirements, program flexibility, quality, cost value, faculty experience and more.

NCC’s special education paraeducator degree can be completed fully online if desired. The program is designed to prepare students to work in classrooms under a certified to teacher as an essential part of a team that can deliver specialized programs for children with varying abilities in diverse educational atmospheres across all age levels. The Occupational Outlook by the Bureau of Labor Statistics suggests that this career will grow 3-8% by 2026.
