Reduction Fired Ceramics Workshops at East 40 – Wood Fired Ash Glaze

Art faculty member Andrew Storck shares his knowledge of wood- and gas-fired reduction ceramics in a series of three community education workshops:

Wood Fired Ash Glaze – 7 Day Workshop (May 29 – June 10)
Wood Fired Soda Glaze – 5 Day Workshop (June 26 – July 2)
Gas Fired – Reduction Glazes – 4 Day Workshop (July 24 – July 27)

He will also offer “Natural Clay Processing” on June 12, a one-day workshop to learn to locate, dig, and process local clay, right from NCC’s East 40.
