NCC Theatre presents “American Buffalo”
January 26 @ 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM EST

NCC Theatre Dept. presents David Mamet’s classic dark comedy, “American Buffalo.” This show is recommended for mature audiences.
In a Chicago junk shop, three small-time crooks plot to rob a man of his coin collection, the showpiece of which is a valuable “Buffalo nickel.” These high-minded grifters fancy themselves businessmen pursuing legitimate free enterprise. But Donny, the oafish junk shop owner, Bobby, a young junkie Donny has taken under his wing, and “Teach,” a violently paranoid braggart, are merely pawns caught up in their own game of last-chance, dead-end, empty pipe dreams. Featuring NCC students Justin Ferguson, Andy Van Antwerp and Max Wetherhold.
Onstage in the Norman Roberts Lab Theatre on NCC’s main campus: Thursday, Jan. 26 – Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, Jan. 29 at 2 pm. Tickets are free for those with a valid NCC ID and a food pantry donation; $5 for all others. Get them at ncctix.org or the box office; call 484-484-3412 or at the door.
