NCC Spring Student Poster Conference: Cultural Diversity and Global Topics

April 11 @ 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM EDT

We are excited to announce the Cultural Diversity and Global Topics Poster Conference for NCC students in Spring Semester 2023.
The poster conference will take place on April 11, 2023 from 11am-1pm in Laub Lounge, College Center. The purpose of the conference is for students to start meaningful conversations with other students, faculty, and staff who are interested in topics related to cultural diversity and global themes and for participants to come away seeing the world through a wider lens. Students may present posters on any research-based topic connected to the theme of cultural diversity or global topics. Students can choose topics connected with their personal stories or heritage, or they may base their poster topic on class projects, assignments, or discussions. Any NCC student may present a poster.

We would love for faculty and staff to encourage students to sign up to present at the conference and gain valuable experience. We will offer information sessions for students so they can learn more and feel prepared to select topics for the event. After the information sessions, we will host workshops in March to help students narrow down topics, edit their posters, and get fully prepared to present to a general audience in April.

Student information sessions will be held on February 27 at 2:00 pm in CC146 or Zoom and on March 2 at 11:00 am in CC146 or Zoom.

Information sessions for faculty and staff will be announced in January for Q&A so that you may provide more information to students you teach, advise, or work with.
