Teresa Donate
Teresa Donate is a retired professor emerita of Northampton Community College. She earned her master's degree in guidance and counseling from Inter American University and her bachelor's in social sciences from the University of Puerto Rica at the Mayaguez Campus, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is the current chair of the Governor's Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs, and has served as president of the Latino Leadership Alliance of the Lehigh Valley, a member of the Board of Governors of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the PA Statewide Latino Coalition, the Allentown Art Museum board, Musikfest Council, Board of Associates of Muhlenberg College, the Bethlehem Area School District's Advisory Committee for Diversity; and as Co-Chair of the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Task Force. Among her many accolades, one of Teresa's most recent was in 2018 when she was recognized as one out of one hundred of PA's Most Influential Latino Leaders.
