She holds a master’s of science degree in Art Therapy/Counseling, is both a nationally registered and board-certified art therapist, certified thanatologist specializing in grief, death, dying and bereavement, and a licensed professional counselor. During COVID-19, Ariane had assisted with Spartan Aid to provide supportive counseling, as well as to help connect students with emergency financial relief at NCC and local community resources. She currently serves as a co-advisor for both Active Minds and Psi-Beta at Monroe campus and is actively involved in student outreach programming such as IGNITE (Inspire Greatness, Nurture Innovation, Triumph, and Exceed Expectations) for college freshmen. She enjoys leading wellness arts-based workshops for faculty, staff, and students to promote self-care engagement through creative self-expression, active art-making, and mindfulness. Ariane is passionate about helping students on their journey to learn creative and adaptive ways to enhance their overall health, well-being, and to promote growth mindset.
